Reminder: Call to Action. Please show your support of cost efficient, fair Early Voting Hours. The Rowan Board of Elections (BOE) will vote on Monday, Aug 8 at 12:30 PM on the October/November schedule for Early Voting. The Democrats are speaking out: the BOE needs to hear Republican voices too! The BOE meets in the BOE office at West Plaza, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd W, Salsibury.!

  Send an email NOW to [email protected] AND come to the meeting. Sign up at the meeting to make Public Comment. Can be very brief. 
  You can also attend the meeting and make Public Comment through Zoom. Be aware, however, that in person presence is more powerful and no one will know you’re online unless you make Public Comment. See earlier email for more details or address questions to [email protected].

Reminder, Second Call to Action. The July 27 email from [email protected] (Jeffrey Martinez) outlined temporary rules that the NC State Board of Elections (NCSBE) is trying to pass that will affect election workers and observers. Please read his email and make public comment! If you have any questions, contact Jeffrey at the email shown. The NCBSE is up to mischief that could affect our election. Note the speaker below. For your Information: The Great American Eagle Society and Rowan County Tea Party Patriots are meeting jointly Monday Aug 1 at 6PM at First Reformed Church AT 210 Central Ave, Landis, north side entrance. Janie Bilello, Chair of the Asheville Tea Party and an activist with the North Carolina Election Integrity Team, will be talking about election integrity.

  Whether you’re a new or long-time chair or vice-chair, we encourage you to attend if you have not attended in person during this election cycle. Executive Committee Members: The Executive Committee will meet in closed session at 6:30 PM on Thursday Aug 11 before our open session at 7:00 PM. The purpose is to review and approve our budget.
